Behold! The Monolith ... BASSIST and VOCALIST WANTED ...

Behold! The Monolith were one of the most promising bands that I discovered last year.  Hell, I'd say they were beyond promising, after all they had already delivered a stunning album in 'Defender, Redeemist'.  The unique blend of prog, thrash and doom found on that album still lights up my playlist regularly.  The poster with the album artwork still hangs in my living room after all this time.  I "rep" it proudly.  Recently, Kevin McDade, bassist and vocalist with the band passed away and after taking some time off, the rest of the band has decided to move forward.  They left this message on their facebook page just last night:

"So in the spirit of moving forward, and with the blessing and encouragement of the McDades (and as cliche as it sounds we know Kevin would wanted this) we are going to keep playing. We've been jamming with some friends but wanted to put it out there a bit more. We want to find the right person (or people) to move forward with, so we are are looking for a bassist and/or vocalist into the type of HEAVY, Doom, Thrash, etc. Metal hybrid that we are (preferrably in the LA area). Also someone with an open enough schedule to eventually do some touring. Anyone interested, or for more info, message us here or email us at beholdthemonolith@gmail.com.
